Hi guys,
ReplyDeleteYour blog is off to a great start. Fitness, cooking and business, now that's an eclectic menu!
I'm looking forward to reading your content on beginning a business. I do independent work for people so I guess that means that I'm in business. Unfortunately I don't really know what I'm doing from a business and especially a legal standpoint. For one example, I formed an LLC but I don't know if I'm working as Bob or Bob LLC.....
Thanks for sharing your time. I'm sure that as content builds up here you will develop a large group of readers, some of whom will become clients.
I'm going to search NuAge PC now to see what it's about and I doubt that I'm the only one!
Hi Racer 38,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments and well wishes! We decided to start this blog because of readers like you!
I will not be giving legal advice on this blog, but generally speaking when you form a business you conduct business in your business name, that is, the name you registered under. For instance, my company registered name is Mason Firm, LLC. All my business checks, bills and correspondence carry the full name. This will put the general public on notice that I am doing business as a company and the type of company I have.
Be sure that you sign up to follow us so you don’t miss the updates on the Starting a Business segment.
